Harrison H. Williams, age 86, of Huntsville, died on Thursday September 5, 2013.
Harrison H. Williams was born the only son of Harrison Henry Williams and Zora Sirrean Francisco Williams on July 7, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Texas in Austin Texas; and served as a registered professional engineer from 1956 until his retirement in 1988. He served the US Navy from September 1945 until 1954. Harrison was a founding member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Huntsville, Alabama; and affiliated with Gideons International, Full Gospel Fellowship, Fishermen’s Ministry, and E3 Partners (Global Mission Fellowship). Harrison’s life verse was Romans 5:1 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Mr. Williams married Adele Rose Marie Schneider Williams on June 25th, 1949; a faithful husband for 64 years until his death. God blessed the union of their marriage with two sons; Mark Allen Williams and John David Williams. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 18 great grand children.
Services will be on Monday September 9, 2013 at 12:00pm at Ascension Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on that day from 10pm until 12pm at the church.
