William Elmer “Bill” Turner Jr., age 73, of Quinton, passed from this walk of life Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton.
Mr. Turner was a hard-working and loving man. He enjoyed many things in life but none compared to the love he shared for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
According to his wishes, Mr. Turner will be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association and your local humane societies. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Turner; father, Elmer Turner; mother-in-law, Daphne Driggers.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Kathleen Driggers Turner; children, Terrell Turner (Gloria), Pamela Turner Barnes (Scott), Allen Turner (Jan), Jennifer Turner Ambrose (Tommy); grandchildren, Mandy Crapps (Jayson), Jessica Rene Henderson (Jimmy), Justin Barnes (Elizabeth), Chase Barnes, Katie Turner, Will Turner (Jackie), Emily Ambrose, Kaden Ambrose, Grace Ambrose, Sarah Ambrose, Tarah Ambrose; great grandchildren, Seth Destafino, Mason Crapps, Kamdyn Crapps, Josiah Henderson, Roman Henderson, Gabriel Barnes; mother, Nettie Turner; brother, Jimmy Ray Turner; sister, Faye Denton; father-in-law, C.M. Driggers; and a host of many other family and friends.
