Benny Holt Giddy age 78, of Florence, died Wednesday, September 04, 2013. A graveside service will be Friday, September 6 at 12:00 noon at Tri-Cities Mausoleum Chapel . Entombment will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. He was retired with Reynolds/Wise Alloys. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Elliott Giddy; son, Jerry Glenn Giddy; sister, Betty Agnes Wright, and brother, Bobby Joe Giddy. Survivors include his stepchildren, Danny E. Smith (Lea), and Debbie J. Mayhall (Robby); step-grandchildren, Ty Smith and Megan Delaney; step-great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Delaney. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
