Barry Stephen Willingham, age 53, of Tuscumbia, died Monday, September 02, 2013. His family will receive friends Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gary Puryear officiating. Burial will follow in Guy Cemetery.
Barry attended Deshler High School and was involved in various sports. He played football and was a two time State Champion wrestler. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and loved the Crimson Tide. He loved his family more than anything.
Barry was a Colbert County native and was retired from Southern Railway. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his father, Joel Stephen Willingham; grandparents, John Odell and Dellie Howard and Albert and Ruby Willingham.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Howard Willingham; son, Caleb Dee Willingham; brother, Marty Willingham; sisters, Lori Thompson (Todd), Lisa Terry(Tommy); granddaughter, Lila; nieces and nephews, Adam, Jessica, Laura, Hunter, Bailey; great niece, Lindsey Kate and great nephew, Kruz.
Pallbearers are Hunter Thompson, Adam Terry, Tommy Terry, John Burns, Steve Whittle and David Hites.
