Mrs. Edna M. Madison, age 87, of El Centro, CA formerly of Huntsville passed away Wednesday August 21st. at her residence. The second of 7 children, she leaves behind siblings Darrel Smith and Mattie White of Lawton, OK and Sue Haney of Janesville, WI. The mother of 6, her surviving children include Roberta Raulston of El Centro, CA, Richard Tompkins, Dee Dee Tompkins and Stephanie Madison all from Alabama. She is also survived by grandchildren Bryan Encinas, Sabra Steele, Derek Brown, Robert Tompkins, Rickey Tompkins, Chris Beckwith, Justin Beckwith, Aaron Bergman and James Orillion as well as 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy Madison, children: Patricia Brown and Larry Tompkins and grandson Larry Jr., great grandson Jaythan Beckwith and siblings Patsy Pearson, Ed Smith and Junior Smith. Visitation will be Saturday August 31st from 5-7 PM at Hampton Cove Funeral Home. The service will be Sunday September 1st at 1 PM in the chapel with burial in adjoining cemetery.
