Funeral service for Charles L. Maples, 86, will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church with Rev. Joey Staton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church. Mr. Maples died on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1927, in Rossville, Georgia to Fred J. and Cora Maples . Mr. Maples was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Two Sons: Lee Maples (Sandy), Hartselle, AL and Buddy Morris Maples, Hartselle, AL
One Daughter: Kaye Maples (Roger), Huntsville, AL
Five Step-Sons: Carl Wininger, Danny Wininger, Bill Wininger, Bobby Wininger, and Robert Morris
One Step-Daughter: Regina Bearden
