Ellie Dowdy, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, Homemaker, and a member of Dunn United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Martha Crane Ingram; her husband, Curtis Russell Dowdy; one son, Larry Dowdy; and one brother, Elmer Ingram.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2013, with Steve Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
