William Thomas “Pete” Freeman age 74 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Freeman was born June 2, 1939 to Lifford Freeman and Cora Crawford Freeman.
Services for Mr. Freeman are Monday, August 12, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery with Junior Dison officiating.
He is survived by his wife Mae Freeman; son David Freeman; daughters, Melanie Jarrett and Melissa Jarrett; brothers, Jerry Freeman and Bill Freeman; sisters, Lib Newman, Alice Dison, Debbie White, Brenda Posey and Sue Stacey; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Freeman Adams; grandson, Thomas “T.J.” Freeman; brother, Bud Freeman; sister, Dot Haggermaker.
Pallbearers are Nathan Adams, B.J. Jarrett, Austin Jarrett, Matthew Jarrett, Nick Martindale, Mason Carruth and Ryan Posey.
