Billy Jack Gibson, 75, of Killen died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at his residence.
He was a retired tow boat pilot and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Crossroads Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with David Cofield officiating.
Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his parents, Graty and Rebecca Gibson; and brother, Johnny Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Gibson; son, Mike (Michelle) Gibson; sister, Tippy Greer; brother, Bobby Gibson; grandchildren, Caleb (Brittany) Gibson and Anna (Johnny) Heinkel; and great-grandchildren, Candon and Kymbrel Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to the Mission Fund at Crossroads Baptist Church, 10932 Highway 72, Rogersville, AL 35652.
