Mary Sue Creasey – Obituary

Mary SeMary Sue Creasey, 86, of Pekin, IL, formerly of the UAW Highrise, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at Pekin Hospital.
Born April 25, 1927 in Sardis, TN to Al and Audra T. (Phillips) Wilhite, she married James E. Creasey on August 9, 1945 in Corinth, MS. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Linda “Kay” (J.C.) Huddleston of West Plains, MO and Carol Ann Ergle of Morton, IL; one son, Anthony (Margie) Creasey of Pekin; six grandchildren, James “Mitch” Huddleston, Gena Brucker, Wendy Salvin, Jennifer Michelle Johnson, Randy A. Creasey and Audrey Curless; fourteen great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jacob, Adam, Devin, Isaac, Tressie, Ally, Marshall, Laynie, Quin, Leah, Mariella and Landry; one brother, Joe L. (Millie) Wilhite of Lexington, TN; and one sister, Doris Del Biaggio of Lexington, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandson, Rayden Brucker; one half-sister, Frances Wilhite; two half-brothers, Kinsey Wilhite and Gene Wilhite.
Mary was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria, IL.
A homemaker, Mary was an excellent cook. She was a very thoughtful and caring person with an infectious smile, who always put others needs before her own. She cherished her children and grandchildren and was an excellent mother and grandmother.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, TN, where visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery at Scotts Hill, TN.
