Jeffrey Scott Burnette, 47, of the Peaceful Valley community, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at his home after a sudden illness. He was born January 17, 1966, to William Benjamin Burnette and Nina Sue Bennett Burnette. He had worked at Supersagless and Tru Temper. He was currently working in the construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and throwing horse shoes. He was a Baptist in belief.
Survivors include his father and mother, William and Nina Sue Burnette; one brother, William Duane Burnette (Marie); one niece, Priscilla Burnette; all of the Peaceful Valley community.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Friday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
