FLORENCE-For the second year in a row the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library has celebrated Harry Potter’s birthday. It was a roaring success! Library director, Nancy Sanford was thrilled at the turn out of children to help celebrate the birthday of everyone’s favorite wizard, Harry Potter. There were all sorts of activities from trivia about the Potter books to a photo booth and of course there were treats, Harry Potter style, Mice Pops and Butterbeer were served in the coffee shop. There was a film screening of one of the Harry Potter movies and everyone was in costume. All in all a fun time was had by all and The Quad-Cities Daily was there to catch it all in photos.
