Brownlowe C. Hall – Obituary

BrownloeBrownlowe C. Hall passed away peacefully at home with family and his beloved dog, Maggie. He and his wife, Nellie, have been active citizens of Madison for over 40 years. “Brownie” as he was known by all was retired from Boeing with 20 plus years’ service. In his retirement, he was an avid golfer, bowler, do-it-yourself home improver, and landscaping enthusiast. He has also been a strong supporter of many animal rescue and care organizations. For many years, Brownie was active in the Madison Optimist Club. Brownie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nellie; beloved dog, Maggie; sisters Bonnie Cagle, of Winder, GA and Gladys Ford of Clyde, NC. Other survivors include sister and brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at University Baptist Church on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm with funeral services starting at 4pm with Dr. Bobby Burt officiating. He will then be taken to Oak Ridge, TN where a graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens. Laughlin Service Funeral Home and Weatherford’s Mortuary in Oak Ridge, TN are in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to the following organizations:
