Funeral for Waymon Hensley, 82, of Danville will be Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hensley, who died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his home, was born September 30, 1930, in Lawrence County to Bob and Murty Hensley. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene “Jean” Vest Hensley; three sons, Randy and Donna Jo Hensley, Keith and Lori Hensley and Kim and Donna Jones Hensley; one daughter, Sheila Hensley McCaig; one brother, Delmar Ray Hensley; one sister, Foree Porter; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, Hospice of the Valley or Enon Baptist Church Building Fund.
