Vivian Juanita Weeks – Obituary

Funeral for Vivian Juanita Weeks, 77, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Daniel Gray and J.C. Young officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weeks, who died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at her residence, was born June 16, 1936, in Lawrence County to Simon Peter Pat Gillespie and Alma Geneva Shelton Gillespie. She retired as an assembly worker from Prestolite and was a member of Independent Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa Weeks; brother, Tommy Gillespie; and sister, Marie Wood.

Survivors include her husband, William Delta “W.D.” Weeks Jr.; two sons, Farren Keith Weeks and Pat of Hartselle and Ferlin Weeks and Juanita of Trinity; one daughter, Theresa Hayes and Kenneth of Trinity; three brothers, Bruce Gillespie of Decatur, Harry Gillespie of Russellville and Johnny Gillespie of Moulton; seven sisters, Barbara Hale, Betty Heflin and Annette Gillespie, all of Hillsboro, Phyllis Key of Moulton, Rosemary Jeffreys of Danville, Patsy Oliver and Tammy Freeman, both of Moulton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and family.
