Thomas Odell Seay Profile Photo  Thomas Odell Seay, 72, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on November 3, 2026.

Born on July 16, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, Thomas spent much of his life in Huntsville, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked for the Huntsville Police Department.Thomas was a loving father and grandfather with a wonderful sense of humor. He was always joking around, playfully teasing those he loved, and finding ways to make others laugh. He especially enjoyed picking on his daughter, Christine, something she will always remember with a smile. He was the kind of father who would do just about anything for his children, and his love for his family will always be cherished.

He is survived by his son, Tommy Seay, and grandsons, Connor and Jackson Seay; his daughter, Christine Klingbeil, and her husband, William Klingbeil, and grandchildren, Sophia and Eliott Klingbeil.Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Seay, and his loving parents.Though his family’s hearts ache in his absence, they find peace and comfort in knowing he is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife and parents.

His laughter, his love, and the memories he leaves behind will be carried in their hearts forever. He will be deeply missed and loved beyond words.A private graveside service will be held for immediate family, where Thomas will be lovingly laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Marie. Though their family never imagined having to say goodbye to both of them in such a short time, there is comfort in knowing that the two hearts that shared a lifetime of love are together once more. While they will be deeply missed here on earth, their family holds tightly to the promise of Heaven, where there are no more tears, no more suffering, and no more goodbyes.Together again in Heaven, side by side here on earth.

As their family walks through the sorrow of losing them both, they find strength in the beautiful promise of God’s Word:“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” — Psalm 34:18 (NLT)

Graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery on Friday, November 6th at 10:00 AM, with William Klingbeil officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
