Jimmie Ray Stout age 67, passed away November 4, 2026, at Selmer Post Acute.
He was born January 21, 1959, in Selmer, TN, the son of the late Gilbert May and Mary Sue Beard Stout.
Jimmie was a simple man who loved to wear camouflage clothing. He enjoyed outdoors fishing and hunting. He loved his animals like his dogs and chickens. He usually had a rooster running around outside. When he was able, he would go to Finger to the square dance.
Mr. Stout is survived by two brothers, Frank Stout of Jackson and Ronnie Stout of Henderson and four sisters, Betty Burris of Lexington, Lettie Fussell of Henderson, Betty Baggett of Bethel Springs and Teresa Ley of Milan, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Jimmy Gilbert Stout, Charlie Ray Stout, Paul David Stout and Marion Stout and a sister, Sandra Kay Ayers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time on Friday.
