Helen McClard Profile PhotoMrs. Helen Rhea McClard, age 77, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 3, 2026 with her family by her side. She was a production technician at Nissan for over 20 years before her retirement. Mrs. McClard loved being MeMa to her grandchildren and Honey to her great grandchildren. She was an avid reader finishing James Patterson novels in as little as two days. If the order wasn’t right, she wanted you to go back and make it right. She was determined to spend her children’s inheritance in scratch off lottery tickets, Mountain Dew, and Marlboro Lights. Weekends in the fall were spent watching UT Volunteers football and Tennessee Titans football.

Mrs. McClard is survived by her children, Tommy McClard and his wife Sarah and Michelle DeBerry; grandchildren, Ethan McClard and his wife Shana, Paige Haney and her husband Chase, Noah McClard and his wife Audrey, and Beth McClard; great grandchildren, Inaya, Elijah, and Milah; sister in law, JoLinda Watson and her husband Loyd; and faithful canine companion, Rico. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gordon Smith McClard, and sister, Brenda Taylor.
