Jeanette “Jeanie” C. Ebert of Duck River, TN, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026, after a brief illness.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Julius “Jim” Ebert, her son Julian Michael “Mike” Ebert, and 12 sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her son Julius M. “Mark” Ebert of Duck River, TN, and daughter Joyce (Fred) Reifsteck of Athens, GA.
Jeanie will be greatly missed by her friends and loved ones, and her absence will be felt at card tables across the country. You may notice an over-abundance of vanilla ice cream at your local grocery store.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Columbia, TN. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
