Raymond Joe Riddle, passed away on October 30, 2026 in Athens, Alabama. He was born on June 8, 1953 in Madison County, Alabama. Joe will be remembered for his love of raising goats and chickens. He also liked to sit on the front porch but he had a special love for his grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his son, Brad Riddle (Rockie); his brothers, Charles Riddle, James Riddle, Buck Riddle, and Johnny Riddle; his sister, Charlotte Malone; and his grandchildren, Cayson Riddle and Wesson Riddle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester Nelson Riddle and Della Mae Riddle; his brothers, Ralph Riddle and Robert Riddle, and his sister, Judy Riddle.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2026 from 11am till 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Tyler Riddle and Pastor Mike Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery.
