Hugh Brandon Howard, Jr., 73, of Dora, AL, passed away on October 26, 2026, at UAB Hospital. He was a graduate of Corner High School, Class of 1971. He attended the University of Montevallo and was a computer technician. He enjoyed woodworking and working on and improving his family farm. He enjoyed working on projects and helping his friends in the community. He was beloved in the Bethel Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Valera Howard, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include his aunt, Eleanor Sellers; cousins, David Howard (Ellen), Jim Howard, Mike Sellers, Barbara Sellers, Cheryl Sellers, Wayne Phillips, Sandra Phillips, Linda Phillips, Bill Phillips, III, Martha Jane Ellington, Mike Graham, Stanley Graham, William Bynum, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
