Earlie Bain age 69 of Dowelltown passed away Sunday October 25, 2026, at his residence. He was born October 25, 1957, to his parents the late Clay and Annie Ruth Redmon Bain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Bain. Mr. Bain was a member of Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church and worked in Building and Construction as a Carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Diana Bain of Sparta; sons, Jimmy (Amanda) Bain of Dowelltown, Lucas (Holly) Bain of Alexandria, and Johnny (Dana) Colwell of Smithville; grandchildren, Ali Williams, Maggie Bain, Cole Bain, Katie Bain, Chelsey Sparks, Hunter Brannon; brothers, Harold Bain of Smithville, and Cleveland Bain of Dowelltown; sisters, Helen Moore, Pauline Braswell and Annie Walker all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews; step-sons, Derek Wilson and Michael Wilson both of Sparta. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday October 29, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darrell Gill and Bro. Derek Wilson officiating and burial to follow in Bain Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 28, 2026, 4PM till 7PM and on Thursday October 29, 2026, 9AM until the time of the service at 11AM.
