Virginia Ann Cazalas Bailey, age 66, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Virginia was born on November 9, 1959, in Huntsville to William Philip Cazalas, Jr., and Patricia Prickett Cazalas. She graduated from Lee High School in 1978 and the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1982.

While working as a pharmaceutical representative, Virginia walked into a real estate office to buy a home and met the man who would become her husband, Harald Bailey. It was the beginning of a love story that would shape the rest of her life. They married on July 6, 1991, at First Presbyterian Church and welcomed two children, Caroline and Bennett. Virginia devoted herself to her family, pouring her time, energy, and love into raising her children.

Virginia was loving, inclusive, and filled with joy. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and a wonderfully hilarious sense of humor. She could make you laugh when you needed it most, and she stood firm when the moment called for it. Above all, she was devoted to loving others well. For Virginia, love was something she put into practice every day through her generosity, loyalty, and willingness to show up.

After raising her children, Virginia became an award-winning real estate agent. She understood that anyone could find a house; her calling was to help people find a home. She worked tirelessly for her clients, and the relationships she built extended far beyond the closing table. Strangers became clients, and clients became dear friends. She checked in, celebrated their milestones, supported their businesses, and remained someone they could count on.

If you needed support of any kind, Virginia was there. She made room for people, welcomed them as they were, and made sure they knew they mattered. She never made you feel small. She made you feel loved.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, William Philip Cazalas, Jr., and Patricia Prickett Cazalas.

She is survived by her husband, Harald Bailey, of Kingstree, South Carolina; her daughter, Caroline Bailey; her son, Bennett Bailey; daughter-in-law, Haley Bailey; her brothers, William Philip Cazalas III and Matthew David Cazalas; and her sister, Janice Cazalas Ramey.

Virginia leaves behind a legacy of laughter, belonging, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her family finds comfort in knowing she is fully healed, at peace, and in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. The joy she shared and the love she gave so freely will live on in the countless lives she touched.

The family invites all who knew and loved Virginia to a visitation on Monday, October 26, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in John Allen Hall at First Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
