Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Mrs. Regina Anne Britt, age 61, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 in Jackson and will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, and deep devotion to the people she cared for.
Born on January 4, 1965 in Lexington, she was a dedicated teacher at Westover for 27 years. She took great pride in her work and loved her students as if they were her own, making a lasting difference in many young lives.
Her daughters and grandchildren were the center of her world. To her grandchildren, she was “GiGi”-a name filled with love and cherished memories. She delighted in beach trips, yard sales, and out-of-town thrifting adventures with her work friends. She also enjoyed reading, crafting, and cheering on the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team.
Her Christian faith was an important part of her life. She believed in Jesus and found comfort and guidance in reading the Word.
Survivors include her father, Mr. Joe Perry Inman; her daughters, Tara Jones (Cameron) and Brittany Frensley (Chase); her grandchildren, Hudson Jones, Teagan Jones, and Ada Frensley; her brother, Jason Inman (Tracy); her sister, Angela Inman; nieces, Rachel Henderson (Keith Stanfill) and Jessica Wilson (Kyle); and nephews, Justin Britt (Rachel) and Clint Britt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Terry Lee Britt; her mother, Charlotte Inman; and a niece, Allie Henderson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 4 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Lexington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington on Monday, 3-7 PM and on Tuesday, 2-4 PM.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and care that will live on in her family, her former students, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Regina Anne Britt
