Margaret “Peggy” Riggle, age 83, of Lynnville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at her home with her family at her side.
Peggy was born August 14, 1943, in Portland, Maine, to the late Archibald and Mary Burke Pitts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ty Riggle, two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas “Julio” Riggle of Roberson Fork, daughter, Ginny Ann Riggle of Roberson Fork; sons, Todd Riggle of Gallatin, TN, and Tim Wilson of Dowers Grove, IL; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Peggy dedicated her career to serving others as a Restaurant Manager at KFC and the Pulaski Elks Lodge, where her leadership and kindness were felt by everyone around her. Rooted in her Catholic faith, she carried a quiet strength and compassion into every part of her life. She found joy in cooking and sewing, but nothing meant more to her than the time she spent with her family. Being with them was her greatest happiness, and the love she poured into those moments will be cherished and remembered always.
A celebration of life service will be held by the family at a later date.
