Renee Elizabeth Money, age 66 of Winchester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 16, 2026. Renee was born on December 16, 1959, in Brunswick, Maryland, to the late Dewey Edward and Mildred Marie (Honeycut) Williams. Renee previously worked as an event planner for the Housing Authority and dedicated her time to being a loving mother to her three children, Ralph, Crystal, and Carrie. She had a remarkable green thumb and took great pride in tending her beautiful gardens. Gifted with a creative spirit, Renee enjoyed expressing herself through writing stories, heartfelt letters, and beautiful songs. Her artistic talents also shone through in the colorful tie-dye shirts she created and the music she played on her guitar. She cherished trips to Pigeon Forge with her husband, Lloyd, and shopping adventures with her girls. Above all, Renee treasured the precious moments spent with her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and the memories she created with them will be cherished forever. Renee was a devoted member of Dwelling Place Church, formerly known as Abundant Life, where she had worshipped since 1996.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Vickey Close, April Cordova, and Bonnie Williams. Renee is survived by her husband of twenty seven years, Lloyd Money; children, Ralph (Karen) Hoar, Crystal (Tom) Gilland, and Carrie (Seth) Tipps; bonus children, Christy (Paul) Sanson, Amy (Rod) Butler, Stephen (Amy) Money; grandchildren, Nicholas Hoar, Brittany (Matthew) Lankford, Silas Gilland, Levi Gilland, Naomi Bierer, Caleb Bierer, Micah Gilland, Elijah Bierer, Zoe Bierer, Kara Tipps, Legend Tipps, Inara Tipps, and Gabriel Tipps; bonus grandchildren, Cody Tant, Mia Henderson, Ava Sanson, Nadia Butler, Noelle Butler, Jax Butler, and Brayden Money; great-grandchildren, Nataleigh, Carson, Alayna River, Laylayn, Eliza, and Zoey; bonus great-granddaughter, Mikayla. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Konrad officiating.
