Martha Gail Richards, age 75, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 2:00pm at Detroit Church of God with burial to follow in the Blaylock Cemetery. Bro. David Gifford and Bro. Richie Stone to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral services from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
Martha was born on August 26, 1951 in Sulligent, AL to the late Lee Junior Wilson and the late Dorothy Nell Otts Wilson. She was a 1969 graduate of Sulligent High School. Martha formerly operated the Christian Center of Concern. She enjoyed being outside, especially going fishing and loved cooking for her family. Martha was also known to be an avid Auburn fan and loved watching all the football games. She had a very kind and giving heart that took great pleasure in helping people, which she truly loved unconditionally. Her beautiful and generous spirit will forever be cherished and never forgotten by all those who loved and knew her. Martha was a faithful member of Detroit Church of God.
