Eva Lindsey Garner, 82, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born in Mississippi to Earl and Nellie Wigginton Lindsey.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 19, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Belmont City Cemetery in Belmont, MS with Phillip Pharr officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, MS, will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Garner (Daniel Smith); granddaughter, Lindsey Hollingsworth (TK); two great-grandchildren, Evie and Mila Hollingsworth; son-in-law, Danny Pharr; and sister, Faye King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Garner; daughter, Myra Pharr; grandson, Dustin Pharr; parents; three brothers, Lee Lindsey, James Cliston Lindsey, and Truman Lindsey; and sister, Bennie Sue Watts.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Smith, Ricky Lindsey, Rodney Lindsey, TK Hollingsworth, and Brad Lindsey.
