Angelia Christine “Christy Lindsey” Walker, age 52, passed away on October 16, 2026. Christy was born May 29, 1974. Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Shirley Lindsey; paternal grandparents, Joe and Polly Lindsey; and maternal grandparents, Melvin and Claudine Shirley.
Survivors include her father, Gene Lindsey (Anna), of Sheffield, brother, Joey Lindsey (Alison) of Sheffield; daughter, Mackenna Walker Shelton (Jordan) of Five Points, TN; and son, Thomas Elijah Walker of Athens.
Christy will be cremated and sprinkled at predetermined place of her choosing. Christy requested there be no ceremony but celebrate her passing in your own way.
The family asks that you please send any donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation for research to help find a cure for this terrible disease or to the Colbert County Human Society.
