Selma Louise Roberts, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at her residence. She was born August 21, 1950, in Marks, Mississippi, to William Ervin and Clenton Franklin Cook Cranford. She was a former employee at Gene’s Truck Center. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to crochet, watch HGTV, and cook for her family.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS, with Bro. Adam Humphries officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 12–2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS, will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Joe Graves (Lawanda), Donnie Steiner LaRoue (Rob), Lois Vander Woude, Donald Easterling, Lynne Blaylock (Shane), Franco Lewis (Jessica) and Jeremy Roberts; one brother, Clarence Cranford (Norma) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Wayne Ray Roberts, of fifteen years; her previous husband, Franco Wallace Lewis, Jr. of fourteen years; her parents; two brothers, Bill Cranford and Leclead Garrett; two sisters, Mary Decanter and Grace McDougal, her twin; two son, James Stark and Jim Taylor; and two grandson, Blake Easterling and Adam Roberts.
