E. Clarice Morgan of Cornersville, TN passed away peacefully in Franklin, TN on September 28th at age 98. Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Mrs. Morgan lived in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Debra McManus (Dan Geer) of Cornersville, TN and son, Richard Morgan (Lynn) of Rhode Island and Florida, granddaughters, Sara Ferguson (Matt), Rachael Wilhelm (Michael), Caitlin Curis (Ed) and Cara Gill (John), great grandchildren, Lincoln, Amelia, Lilly, Thomas, Wesley, Charlotte, Phoebe and Lucy. Mrs. Morgan, unable to attend college when young, received a bachelor degree with honors from Western Connecticut State College as an adult. She worked as a legal secretary, bookkeeper and real estate agent. As a child, she sang on the radio, known for her rendition of ‘Freight Train Blues’. She was an expert seamstress, quilter, writer, cook, scrabble player, golfer and dog lover. She and her husband Charlie loved to travel and visited most states in the U.S. Her true passion was for her family and friends who will miss her love, guidance and generosity.
