A celebration of life service for Mary Dell Dicks of Corinth is set for 2 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home- East Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 1 pm till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home- East Chapel. Interment will follow in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. She was born on January 11, 1940 in Corinth, MS and departed this life on October 2, 2026 at her residence. Mary Dell attended school at Hickory Flat and graduated from Glendale High in 1960. She worked at several area factories through the years but retired from Kimberly Clark. She enjoyed quilting and most importantly spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and had the privilege of loving her. Mary Dell Dicks is survived by her daughter, Deborah Woodruff Moody; her son, Jonathan Woodruff (Mary); her granddaughter, Nisa Moody King (Justin); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Carrol Dicks; her parents, Frank and Laura “Kit” Burcham; her brother, Charles Ray Burcham; and her sisters, Sarah Frances Hodum (Hurshel), Clara Fay Chase (Robert), and Helen Louise Burcham.
