In Loving Memory of Rheanetta Lynn Hurst Phillips
Rheanetta Lynn Hurst Phillips, 60, was a woman of deep and abiding faith. Her life and memory will be cherished by the family and loved ones who remain, as they find comfort in the faith she held so dear.
Rheanetta was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Nora Edmonds Webb; her grandparents; her brothers, Wade, Bobby, and Tommy; her sisters, Rosa and Margaret Ann; and her late husband, Jimmy Dean Dupree.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Joshua Phillips and Pamela Mason, and Bradley Phillips and Sylvia Phillips; and her grandchildren, Austin Phillips, Riley Phillips, Aiden Phillips, Liam Phillips, Zayde Phillips, Gunner Phillips, and Alyssa Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a special mention of her nephew, Wade Jr., as well as her former husband, Danny Phillips.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the faith she carried in her heart remains a lasting part of her legacy. May those who loved her find peace in their memories and comfort in the promise of eternal life through her Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will follow immediately after visitation.
Rheanetta will be laid to rest at Goosepond Cemetery, beside her beloved mother, Nora.
May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus, reunited with those who went before her.
