Byron James Allen, of Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on July 17, 1962, in Jackson, Tennessee.
Byron will be remembered with love by those who shared in his life and friendship. He is survived by his sisters, Tasha Allen Turnbow and her husband, Larry, and Ginger Allen Regen and her husband, Kendall. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew, Amber Lipford and her husband, Todd, Grant Turnbow and his wife, Rachel, Hannah Beasley and her husband, Dean, and Kelsey Dotson and her husband, Rusty. His memory will also be cherished by the younger generation of his family, including Hadley, Saylor, Brooks, Aiden, Elliston, Beckett, and Remi. In addition to his family, Byron is lovingly remembered by his special friend, Suzanne Holder.
Byron was a graduate of Northside High School. He was a proud Eagle Scout who was fun loving and easy going and loved being with his friends. Music was a true love of his and he enjoyed playing his guitar with friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Allen, and his mother, Esther Allen, who he loved deeply and missed daily.
A graveside service to honor and remember Byron James Allen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 6, 2026, at Browns Cemetery, with Rev. Bobby Keen officiating.
