VINEMONT-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a multi-vehicle accident near Vinemont has taken the life of a Cullman woman:
“A multi-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Thursday, October 1, has claimed the life of a Cullman woman.
The crash occurred when the 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by Malina E. Chandler, 73, was struck by the 2012 Ford Focus driven by Brandi N. McFadden, 39, of Cullman. After the initial impact, the Hyundai was then struck by the 2003 Ford F-250 driven by Austin D. Johnson, 23, of Baileyton.
Chandler was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 69 at the intersection of Cullman County 747, approximately nine miles east of Vinemont, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
