Mary H. Pugh, age 93, of Fayette, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Heritage Health Care Center. There will be a graveside service Monday, October 05, 2026, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Tim McCool will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Bernell Pugh, parents; Clint and Dora Hitt Robertson, and 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter; Judy Diane (Terrell) Jones, son; James Pugh Jr., grandchildren; Adam (Nicole) Jones, Paul (Julie) Jones, Clint (Ashley) Pugh, James Wiliam Pugh, Erin Krokos, Beth (Brad) Austin, Laura (Ryan) Furr, David (Kate) Sewell, and Joseph (Rachel) Sewell,12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Mary was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Pickens County. She later retired from Westinghouse. Mary will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
