Glenda Michelle Sledge, 49, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Diversicare of Tupelo. She attended South Pontotoc Attendance Center and spent most of her life working as a waitress in Tupelo. A fan of rock music, her children were her pride and joy, and she especially cherished her two grandchildren.
Glenda is survived by her children, Delilah Till, Sebastian Tackett, and Lakyn Tackett; her sister, Cassie Dillard; her grandchildren, Karson Tackett and Layla Tackett; her grandmother, Brenda Dillard; her stepmother, Liz Sledge; her special uncle, Paul James (Amye); her aunt, Donna Dillard; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickey Dillard Strickland; her father, Glenn Sledge; and her grandparents, Catherine James, Dale Sledge, and Sonny Dillard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Scotty Bland officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 PM and continue until service time. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sebastian Tackett, Riley Black, Paul James, and Jimmy Pennington.
