Danny Neal Forman, 58, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved.
Born on February 19, 1968, Danny was the son of Jimmy and Loyce Forman. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence could light up a room.
Danny spent his working years in a variety of fields, including De’ville Furniture, Paslode, and Bunker Hill, as well as many years as a mobile home transporter. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family and in staying busy with whatever project was in front of him. He was known as the foreman Forman at all of his occupations throughout his working career.
But Danny’s greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with his boys and grandchildren, tinkering around in his shop, and, most of all, having a good time with the people he loved. Danny was known as the life of the party. He always seemed to have a joke ready, a story to tell, or a way to make those around him laugh. His sense of humor and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Danny is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shana Forman; his three sons, Devin Forman (Brittini), Joseph Forman (Katie), and Immanuel Forman (Lakelyn); and his eleven grandchildren, Landen, Khloe, Jamison, Blakely, Aubree, Ethan, Isabella, Braylon, Olivia, Isaac, and Adley.
He is also survived by his mother, Loyce Forman; his sister, Angie Tackett; his mother-in-law, Shirley Moses; his brother-in-law, Jackie; three nephews, Jeremy, Neal, and Bradley; nephews Jacob and Brennen; one niece, Santana; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Forman; his brother, Marty Forman; his grandparents, Johnny and Louise Forman and Ottis and Ruby Graham; 3 uncles, Burrell, Norris, Gary, and Arlie Graham; and his father-in-law, Jack Chambers.
Though Danny’s absence will leave an enormous hole in the lives of those who loved him, his laughter, his stories, his jokes, and the memories he created with his family will live on. He leaves behind a family who will carry his love and his memory with them for generations to come.
Services will be held at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church with Tim Forman officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, October 1, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with graveside services following at Ecru Cemetery.
