Hubert Edward Matherly, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Lockport Well & Pump Co. in Joliet, IL and past president of Just Us Motorcycle Club in Kankakee, IL. He was also a member of the American Legion and a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Matherly served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mary Geneva Moore Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Matherly; two daughters, Christy Coovert (Mark) and Debbie Guinn; six grandchildren, Shelby, Cole, Tyler, Andrew, Dawson, and Logan “The General”; and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at a later date.
