Kenneth Wade Byers, 72, passed away on September 27, 2026. Kenneth was a remarkable man whose greatest joy was his family. He led by example, offering strength, love, and encouragement that brought his family close and helped them grow strong together. The life he built with them is his lasting legacy.
Kenneth had many names, Kenneth, Dad, and Daddaddy. He was very special to everyone. He was the rock and foundation that held his family together. He passed away with all of his family by his side holding onto him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Byers; his mother, Bobbie Byers Nunley; sister, Barbara Byers Holt, and his brother, Steven Byers.
Kenneth is survived by Shelaine, his wife of 47 years; their sons, Jeremy (Leigh), Josh (Haley), and Jordan (Bailey); and his eight grandchildren, Kenleigh, Karlee Anne, Kennedy, Owen, Henry, Annabelle, Pride, and Rutland.
Visitation will be held at Greenview Memorial Park and Funeral Home on September 30, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held on October 1 at 10:00 a.m.
