The Homegoing Celebration for Leo Turner, Jr., of Athens, Alabama, will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 3509 Blue Spring Road NW, Huntsville, Alabama 35810. Pastor R. L. Turner of Destiny & Legacy Ministries, Birmingham, Alabama will serve as the Eulogist. Mr. Turner will lie in repose from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment and committal services will follow at Thatch-Mann Cemetery.
The repast will be held at the Round Island Creek Mission Center immediately following the interment.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at New Life Church, 2314 South Hine Street, Athens, Alabama 35611.
