Michael Wayde Key, age 68 of Newton, MS, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his residence.
He loved playing with his grandkids, Alabama Football and building things.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27,2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God, funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery. Ronny Banks will officiate.
Mr. Key was preceded in death by his Parents-Roy and Betty (Breed) Key; Brother-Gerald (Wayne) Key; Grandson-JT Geyer.
He is survived by his Children-Christy Jo (Key) Thrasher and husband William, Michael Jeremy Key, Michael Justin Key and fiancée Rebecca Coonce and Kayla Diane Key; Sister-Sheila (Key) Lowery; Grandchildren-Paisley Munn, Makaila Munn, Jensen Key, Brooklyn Boykin, Kelsie Boykin, Chloe Hill, Abby Hill, Koty Geyer, Jason Thrasher, Brooklyn Thrasher, Collin Thrasher, Brice Key and Byron Key; Great Grandchildren-Liam Alvarez, Aaliyah Thrasher, Jonah Thrasher, Quinn Crew, Silas Key, Breille Key and Colton Key.
