Kathy Diane Tennyson, age 69, passed on September 20, 2026. Born April 3, 1957, in Arkansas, Kathy resided in Somerville, Alabama. Her laughter, remembered by many, had a way of brightening even ordinary moments and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Friday September 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 12:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Angela Killebrew and husband Jody Killebrew; her son, Jeffrey Kendall Tennyson and his wife Jennifer Tennyson; her son, Christopher Matthew Tennyson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Louise Kirby; father, Herbert Baty; and her grandson, Jaylinn Tennyson.
Kathy was a retired school bus driver for Hillsborough County Schools. She was completely dedicated to her family. Kathy also enjoyed the fun and excitement of gambling and was a black card holder at Hard Rock casino. She LOVED anything Florida, she was definitely a Florida girl, especially when it came to the Gators! Her laughter would brighten anyone’s day.
