Philip Alan Mange died at his home on September 19, 2026 from pancreatic cancer at 65 years of age. He was born in Anniston, Alabama to William Garvin Mange, Jr and Margie Kennedy Mange. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Building Construction in 1983. He completed a Masters of Divinity at Mid America Seminary, Memphis Tennessee in 1995. He resided in Montgomery, Al, Columbus, Ga, Savannah, Ga and Memphis Tennessee before returning to Anniston where he worked as an estimator and project manager.
Over the past 30 years he developed his own property management business.
He enjoyed exploring the outdoors and hiking. He was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church – Dearmanville Campus, Genesis Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his brother Stephen Mange and sisters Cynthia Mange Brookshire and Nancy Mange Shull, their spouses , 7 nieces and nephews and their families plus 11 great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be at Parker Memorial Baptist Church – Dearmanville Campus, October 2 at 2 pm. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service.
