Barbara “Jeane” Dodd, age 85, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock am, Friday, September 25th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Jason Bell and Bro. Jackson Watts officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Ashland City with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 24th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Friday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.
Mrs. Jeane was born on September 5, 1941, in Cheatham County to the late Ralph & Edith Sterry Perry. She retired after 30 plus years in the boating industry. She was a member of the Primetimers group at Skyline Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, sitting out in her yard, and driving her Cadillac. She was a member of Mt. Zion FWB Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dodd; sons, Stacey Lovell and Kent Lovell; and brother, Mickey Perry.
She is survived by her daughters, Regina (Tracy) Dowlen and Misty (Bubby) Ray; grandchildren, Daniel Lovell, Brent Dowlen, Brittney Dowlen, Cody Denney, and Corey Denney; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee Denney and Sage Denney.
