Kimberly D. Tanner, 62, of Florence, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital. Kim was a very loving, caring, and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had a heart of gold with a wicked sense of humor. She worked for UPS and loved her work family dearly. Grandmother Kim will always be loved, remembered and missed by so many (especially by her book club (AKA Renee), her plants, puzzles, and crafts.)
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 3-5 p.m. with a memorial service in the chapel at 5 p.m.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, James Alton Blackstock and Ann Janet Blackstock; nephew, Josh Vinson.
She is survived by son, Chase Tanner (Aimee); brother, Todd Blackstock; sisters, Suzann Vinson (Jack), Tammy Barnes (Jim), Jamie Hargett (Jeff), Renee Osborn (Matt) and Amy Smith; grandchildren, Hayden Tanner, Trey Tanner (Ella), Finn Tanner, Stellie Tanner, Christian Knight, Charlee Knight, Finlee Knight, Charlie Burns, Carter Burns; nieces, Emily Newcomb, Sarah Blankenship (Bill), Erin Burns (Trey), Sydney Thompson (Josh), Anna Kate Osborn (Zach), Mollie Beth Osborn, Grace Smith, Abbi Osborn, Jayna Tanner; nephews, Kyle Vinson, Hunter Duncan, Colin Duncan, Jake Palese (Christopher), Luke Osborn.
