FLORENCE-On September 13, 2026, Florence Police officers responded to the 1500 block of Cullman Street in Florence, Alabama in regards to a sexual abuse report.
Steven Holden
Officers were advised that Steven Holden sexually touched a child on multiple occasions. Holden was not at the scene when officers arrived.
The Florence Police Criminal Investigations Division was notified of the incident and began investigating the allegations. A Florence police detective developed probable cause for an arrest warrant of Steven Heath Holden, 53, of Florence, Alabama.
Holden was located by patrol shift officers and he was arrested for four counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.
Holden is currently confined at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $1,000,000 bond.
