Billy Eugene “Gene” Jent, age 68 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Grandview Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Sumiton Church of God, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Jent was preceded in death by his Mom-Rose Jent; Father-Billy Jent; Niece-Anna Jent; Aunt-Linda Chavis.
He is survived by his Wife-Marilyn Jent; Daughters-Victoria Jent, Rebekah Jent and Gabrielle Jent; Brother-Brian Jent (JoAnn); Nephew-Brandon Jent (Courtney); Aunt-Martha Worthy; Uncle-David Shaw; Host of other family members.
