Norris Leon Moore, age 76, of the Ashridge Community passed away Thursday September 17, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 5, 1950 to Leon Harrison and Liza Jane Moore. Norris loved the Lord and enjoyed singing and church services. He was a faithful member of Pine Grove Church of God for more than 35 years. His faith was an important part of his life, and he treasured the fellowship and worship he found with his church family. A devoted husband and family man, Norris dearly loved his wife of 56 years and cherished his family. He worked hard throughout his life to provide for those he loved. Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by his children and grandchildren, especially when they were all together camping and making memories. Norris was never one to complain and had a gift for making friends wherever he went. His kind and friendly nature touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Norris is survived by his wife of 56 years Rebekah Ann (Tidwell) Moore; daughters, Bethany (Phillip) Tidwell, Regina (Keith) Blaylock, Amanda (Rodney) Edwards, Emily (Gary) Garrison, and Elizabeth Moore; sons, Nathan (Jasmine) Moore and Jason Moore; grandchildren, Jackson Tidwell, Katelyn Blaylock, Gracie Blaylock, Brayden Edwards, Tanner Moore, Caden Garrison, and Chloe Garrison; and sister, Dorothy Henson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon Harrison Moore and Liza Jane Moore; sisters, Leola Wakefield, Madge Lenn Ingle, Opal Harper, Janell Harper, and Barbara Sue Ray; and brothers, Morris Moore and Horace Moore. Visitation will be Sunday September 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Church of God in Double Springs where the service will be held the following day on Monday September 21 at 3:00 p.m. Brother T.J.
