Sarah M. Flanagin passed away on September 17, 2026, at Tunica Rehab and Convalescence Center. She was born on July 24, 1937, and lived a life marked by simple joys, creativity, and deep love for her family.
Sarah found happiness in the beauty she could nurture and create. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, taking pleasure in watching things grow and bloom under her care. She also loved painting, creating beautiful oil-on-canvas works that reflected her artistic spirit. Alongside these gifts, she delighted in everyday outings, especially shopping and dining out at various restaurants, moments that brought her enjoyment and added warmth to life.
Above all else, Sarah loved being with her children and other family members. Time spent together meant the most to her, and the love she shared with her family will remain one of the most lasting parts of her memory. Her presence, her interests, and the care she gave to those around her will be remembered with affection.
She is survived by her two daughters, her two sons, her one sister, her one brother, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Flanagin.
Sarah M. Flanagin will be remembered with love by those who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8PM and again Monday morning from 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Warren Cemetery.
